Can you get to LA from Factions for Costume brawl? - Guild Wars Forums

Does anyone know a way to get from Factions to LA or another location to enter the costume brawl? The wiki tells how to get there from Nightfall but not from Factions

If you just want to play Costume Brawl, you don't need access to Kamadan or Lion's Arch, nor do you need Prophecies or Nightfall. Just go to Great Temple of Balthazar and talk to Bobby.

You must reach Kaineng Center to access any of the other port cities or the Battle Isles.

To answer your original question, you must complete this quest to travel to Lion's Arch from Cantha.

ok....that makes sense. we are not to Kaineng yet...but wanted to try the brawl with my new Ritualist. I'll try creating a PvP then. Thanks so much for the response Mister B

It's easy to miss this section because it's so well hidden between the sections for travel from Prophecies and from Nightfall, and the heading is only underlined, bold, and twice the normal font size.

PvP is good, as you'll get maxed stuff without any costs. Even thought you can't change your health, attributes or skills. You can still modify all other stuff (such as weapon upgrades etc.).
